5 Money Saving Tips For Back To School Shopping
Summer is almost over which means your kids will be heading back to school. It’s time to think about the long and costly list of supplies your child will need to have a successful school year. Good news; this doesn’t have to come at a huge cost! We have five tips to save you money for back to school shopping.
1. Check your inventory
Check your home or maybe even your car for items left over from the last school year. You may already have a good amount of supplies from your child’s back to school list. Yes, his or her backpack may be a little worn or have an unidentifiable stain on the front, but it still carries books, pencils, etc.
2. Check out coupon sites and blogs for deals
Who doesn’t love a good coupon? There are plenty of coupon sites and blog articles that link to deals for school supplies and clothes. You can start searching for deals on websites like Groupon*, The Krazy Coupon Lady*, and Coupons.com*. Happy couponing!
3. Prepare for the future
If you see an awesome deal on 20 packs of paper, don’t let the deal pass you. Your child may not need that amount of paper right now, but it’s guaranteed that he or she will need it in the future. You’ll save money and have a paper arsenal prepared.
4. Keep your receipts
Some stores will refund you the difference if your item goes on sale shortly after you’ve purchased it. With certain stipulations, retailers like Walmart*, Kohl’s*, and Target* participate in price adjustments.
5. Shop gently used
